The Terni

The Terni is a classic hand-stitched fringed tasseled loafer from the Herring Continental collection. It is available in 3 versatile colourways, black, burgundy and brown suede. The Terni is also crafted in Italy using the Italian traditional moccasin construction. The great yet quite unique part of the shoe is the sole unit. The sole has a rubber insert on the leather sole and a rubber heel which gives numerous advantage in terms of longevity, usage and grip. It is available on our website here for £110.

Herring George

The Herring George is a classic Jodhpur boot with a gold buckle, full leather lining and Goodyear Welted sole. The vamp on the the George is fashioned from only one piece of leather which is a really nice and unique touch. This is a real weekend shoe that looks great with a pair of moleskin trousers or jeans and a shirt.

They are handmade in England and are available online here for £200.

Herring Knightsbridge

The Herring Knightsbridge has got to be the quintessential business shoe. It is a classic English toecap classic Oxford. It features the finest calf leathers for the upper, a full leather lining and leather insoles. It is produced using the Goodyear Welted construction to make the shoes comfortable as well as to give longevity to the shoe. A Goodyear welted shoe can be resoled numerous times, meaning they can infact last a lifetime!

The Herring Merton

The Herring Merton is a tassel loafer with a difference, it features medallion detail and brogueing, which added to the tassel makes a very fun shoe. It is on the sleek 69 last and produced by Barkers in Northampton. Barkers is one of the most renowned names in footwear today and have been running since 1880.

The Merton is made using beautiful Calf leathers and is Goodyear welted. It is available now for £185 and can be found here.

 

Two-tone country brogues

If there is one thing you can probably guess from our shoe collection it is that we love a good two-tone shoe. The changes in texture and colour can make a somewhat ordinary shoe come alive. Here we have a country brogue and boot made real unique by the black and tan contrast colour combination. They are both on a rugged commando sole, which whilst adds to the striking, unique look of the shoes also means they are the perfect shoe for any weather!

We have now incorporated the Red Brick Sole into our Classic footwear collection. The Red Brick welted sole by Dainite is an iconic sole that is still made in England today. True to our heritage the Herring Red Brick collection is made in England and is available in both sand and light navy oiled suede. The shoes can easily be complimented with jeans or teamed with a pair of chinos and a sports jacket for a more casual look.

 

 

Herring Cumbria features in Cotswold Bride magazine

Cotswold Bride magazine features the Herring Cumbria as an essential for the groom this month. The Herring Cumbria is a classic belt in a Mahogany grain, it is produced using the same leather as we use in our shoes to get a perfect match! Each belt is hand burnished and made in Northampton.

 

The Best Scottish Weddings magazine favours our Herring Carnaby

This month, the Best Scottish Weddings magazine featured our very own Herring Carnaby. The article is based on looking sharp in Scottish tones, so the purple suede Carnaby was the obvious choice. The Carnaby is a classic full brogue on the elegant 368 last created with the finest calf leathers and a full leather sole. Seasonal Socks from Herring Shoes

This week Live magazine had socks as the focus point of their ‘Live the look’ and we are very excited to blog that our Herring Plug was featured. The Herring Plug is a great sock with stripe detailing and is available in a wide variety of colours. Herring’s socks are produced by Corgi, a company that has been producing high quality socks without compromise since 1893. Corgi have also been awarded the Royal Warrant by His Royal Highness, the Prince of Wales.
